Keith Kissee has been decorating his vintage Cadillac at the corner of Monument Avenue and Strawberry Street for the past 14 years.
But this year, he’s calling it quits.
He sold the Cadillac, gave away the lights, donated the 100-plus stuffed animals that adorned the car, and has listed his house at 2300 Monument Ave. for sale.
“I hate to do it,” Kissee said, “but it’s time.”
Originally from Missouri, Kissee is buying the family farm where he was raised. He plans to renovate the house and the barns, but he also will keep a place in Richmond. He’s moving to the penthouse apartment on the top floor of the Prestwould apartment building overlooking Monroe Park.
“I found the condo of all condos,” said Kissee, 60.
