Vinyl records come full circle

Vinyl records are making a comeback.

Plan 9 Music, which opened as a used-record store in Carytown in 1981, is celebrating the resurgence in vinyl sales with a 33⅓ birthday event Saturday.

“When we opened, we only had a handful of CDs. Everything was vinyl,” said Plan 9’s owner, Jim Bland.
